Job Description
Essential Job Functions:

• To provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service, and display salesmanship and friendly hospitality.  Attends pre-shift meetings. 
• Maintains uniform appearance according to established guidelines. 
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and Health Department regulations.
• Greets guests in a friendly and timely manner to take orders for food and beverage items. 
• Uses suggestive selling techniques. 
• Must be familiar with all menu items, and also with locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services available to guests. 
• Obtains, reconciles, and returns cash bank at beginning and end of shift. 
• Accurately inputs food and beverage orders into the Aloha system. 
• Follows cash-handling procedures and cash register policies. 
• Prepares beverages to Deli standards and serves them to the guests in a timely manner. 
• Thanks guests, and presents and settles checks according to established procedures.
• Always invites guests back to the outlet.  Relays all guest compliments and complaints to the manager on duty.
• Keeps work area stocked with needed supplies, and neat, clean, and organized.  Fills pastry display as needed. 
• Cleans workstation and equipment daily and/or as needed.   Assists with cleaning tables, floors, and emptying trash as needed. 
• Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products. 
• Completes assigned side work.  Assists with maintaining a neat, clean, and safe working environment.  Turns-over/takes-over station according to established procedures. 

Qualifications:

• Six months food and cash-handling experience required. 
• Good interpersonal skills necessary.   
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English. 
• Must have working knowledge of point-of-sales systems.
• Must be able to perform basic math operations. 
• Minimum age requirement is 18.
