Event: Focus Las Vegas November 2009

Focus Las Vegas is a concentrated executive enrichment program for individuals who can benefit from an accelerated integration into the social, political and business structures of the Las Vegas Valley. Participants will interact directly with area experts and newsmakers in a two-day program. Focus introduces executives to the movers and shakers in Southern Nevada.

Relocating is always difficult. Adjusting to a new job, new co-workers and new surroundings can be hard enough on your new executives without added complications on the home front. Spouses and partners face adjustments of their own. Getting to comfortable with a new city, making friends and establishing ties within a new community can be daunting.

The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce recognizes your new executives and their spouses and partners need to begin making connections and establishing a network with the community quickly to make them successful and effective. Attending Focus Las Vegas is a great way to get both executives and their significant others invested and engaged with the local community.

Attendees will get an insider's look at what’s happening in Las Vegas. Get a sneak peek at City Center, The Smith's Center for the Performing Arts and Lou Ruvo/Cleveland Clinic before they open. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority will provide tourism trends and the impact on economic growth. ATTENDANCE POLICY

The Focus Las Vegas program consists of two scheduled sessions November 3 & 10, 2009, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. We have designed these sessions to inform the participant of all aspects of the community. Attendance at both sessions is required. Participants must remain for the entire duration of the program to meet the requirements for completion of certificate and residency waiver for the Leadership Las Vegas program. Cellular phones are not permitted during session days. An emergency number will be provided to participants for use during the session days.

TUITION

Tuition covers all program costs, including materials and meals. Full tuition payment is due October 30, 2009. Tutition is non-refundable. Spouse may attend at a discount rate. Please click on register now button for pricing details.
